2. Intended use
Cookies and similar technologies store or access information on a device. Their purpose can include maintaining a requested login or checkout session, security, remembering choices or optional features. A third-party network request does not necessarily set a cookie, but may still involve personal information.
The owner's launch choices are:
- Membership/login and messaging functions, document uploads and TWire AI reviews.
- WooCommerce with Stripe for payments.
- Live chat, with the provider not yet chosen.
- No visitor analytics, advertising pixels, embedded videos, newsletters or promotional-email programme.
This describes the intended configuration. It does not establish which cookies are currently set or that optional technologies have already been blocked.
3. Inventory to verify
Complete this table from logged-out and test-member checks of the finished site, including checkout, payment failures, logout, chat, uploads and consent withdrawal. Do not include administrator-only cookies as if all visitors receive them.

These are audit categories, not a list of observed cookies. Add actual names, domains and expiry values before the final policy is approved. The company's 12-month document/account preference is not a blanket cookie-expiry rule.
4. Choices and consent
Under the intended Malta/EU approach, storage/access that is strictly necessary for a service expressly requested by the visitor can be treated differently from optional tracking. Do not classify all payment, chat or security-labelled technology as necessary without examining its actual purpose.
Where consent is required, the implementation must wait for an informed affirmative choice. Optional purposes should start off; rejecting should be straightforward; preferences must be changeable later. Continued browsing is not consent. If only genuinely exempt technologies are present, describe that verified configuration rather than displaying a misleading all-cookies consent request.
[Insert the actual consent tool and Cookie settings location after implementation.] No functional accept/reject/preferences panel is currently confirmed. A future live-chat integration must not silently introduce analytics or marketing contrary to the choices above.
Browser settings can allow blocking or deleting cookies. Disabling a necessary session may interrupt login or a requested checkout. Browser deletion alone does not delete account, order, message or provider records.
5. Third parties and changes
The site uses Hostinger and WordPress/Elementor. Google Fonts requests have been observed in the design. Those requests should be assessed in the Privacy Policy whether or not they set cookies. Review the final Stripe integration against its Cookie Policy; Stripe's own website cookie list must not be copied as if every entry is used on GIO.
Publish the selected chat provider, actual supplier domains and relevant privacy information before enabling that integration. Update this policy after any plugin, checkout, chat, storage or consent change affecting visitors.
